For the cell phone junkie who has it all, Nokia has the Wireless Image Frame that lets you display the pictures you have taken on your mobile phone.

Infosync World reports on a new wireless headset. This uses magnetic communications technology in place of Blue Tooth or conventional radio frequency transmission.

My first trial of a wireless LAN a couple of years ago was abandoned when I could barely get 2 Mbps from it. Now the the IEEE is suggesting a standard that will run at over 100 MBPS.

Sony has a chipset that will bring Digital TV to Cell Phones. Meanwhile NEC has a prototype of a TV-Capable cellphone that they hope to actually bring to market by 2005. Now they just need to pop in Dolby Headphones and we will have a whole bunch of crosseyed people around.

The Nokia 7600 is useable on WCDMA and GSM 900/1800 networks. It has an MP3 & AAC player. It has a cam. It has a weird shape. It has me begging.

Mobile phones may get smaller thanks to a design that turns mobile phone screens into speakers. I guess this could also be used in any equipment that needs an audible alarm on a plug in display panel.

Google introduces Search by Location. Now if we get some local version soon I would be happy.

Just when I thought that Symbian OS was drooping, I read that NTT DoCoMo Licenses Symbian for 3G Handsets.

Reqwireless' EmailViewer gives 'proxied' email viewing on your phone, provided you have java. This lets you get at your HotMail, POP3, IMAP and SMTP accounts. It does attachments, HTML mail & spam filtering.

Cibenix Software has applications that add value to Nokia, Siemens, and Sony Ericsson Smartphones. They make the little bits the manufacturer did'nt put in.
