Popular Science
Read a couple of nice articles on Popular Science.. (beats buying it).
Zubbles. Coloured soap bubbles for kids to blow. And the do it without photoshop. Looks like fun. Didn't know it would be such a big deal to achieve technically. Weird bit is they had to get hold of a dye-chemistry Ph.D. from Bombay to finally crack the problem. I like the name, its so Zaphod Beeblebrox. The product is the expected to be in stores early next year. Wonder how long it will take for it to get here in India. Then we will have kids blowing coloured spheres and people trying to make cheap imitations of it. Kids in Delhi have other things to blow.
The other Zaphod thing, well sort of, was Blastwrap. It looks like bubble wrap with filling but can contain an explosion. Used for bomb disposal. The product seems to be amazing, wish they were local I would be buying shares. More on the Blastgard website.
The pic made me think of the "The Triple-Breasted Whore Of Eroticon Six", Eccentrica Gallumbits. If you dont know what that's about you dont read the books I read.
